What is an Undergraduate Course?

International student with high school certificates with over 80% CGPA or Foundation certificate can pursue an undergraduate degree at a UK university or college. 

An undergraduate is the standard 3-year course for international students with a choice of single or joint honours. With the joint honours degree students can split their time across a range of modules that can be useful for their career after they graduate.

Undergraduate courses are delivered in a combination of seminars, workshops and lectures made up of different modules. Certain modules are optional, therefore, students can tailor study to what they are most interested in. 

Course Types

A standard undergraduate degree is 3-year programme where some undergraduate degrees can last up to 4-year such as science and engineering degree. Some universities in UK have introduced 2 year fast track degree enabling students to complete their degrees in a shorter period and get in to the job market.

Requirements

A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 is required for international students wishing to study undergraduate, with no single element less than 5.5 with pre-sessional English Course. Documents and entry requirements needed are:

• Minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
• Foundationor Higher Secondary School Certificate and Transcripts.
• Reference Letter from your high school teacher
• Personal Statement
• Scanned copy of passport and visa
